Our Business

A Little Magic Farm was founded in 2002. Our vision was to create a place that inspires the magic within. We discovered the Lusitano horse.

The horses produced at A Little Magic Farm are chosen for their temperment, trainability, conformation and beauty. They are trained with a kind yet skilled hand. Our focus is to provide the equine partner of a lifetime.   

We were looking to create a little magic, we found the Lusitano horse. We have a passion for horses and natural horsemanship training which we use to develop dressage horses.

Who We Are

Owner/Trainer

Jen Shedosky has had a passion for horses since childhood. She has trained in multiple disciplines for over 25 years. Her vast experience led her to focus on natural horsemanship methods of training, allowing the expression of the animals spirit to come forth. Liberty training and classical dressage training are the focus at this time, but Jen's riding past include riding and training saddlebred horses for country pleasure competition, western disciplines and a little dabbling in jumping. Future endevours and interests may lie in reining or working horse disciplines depending on the horses talents and interests.  Jen is a NARHA certified therapeutic riding instructor and has been assisting physically and mentally challenged riders for nearly a decade.

Karen Stringer is the Little Magic creative consultant. Karen uses her creative vision and gardening skills that adds to the magic at the farm! Karen also assists us with staying balanced and healthy as she is a liscensed Massage therapist and Reiki practitioner. All of the residents of Little Magic farm are in tip top condition! Mind, Body and Spirit thanks to her efforts!
